Privacy Policy
Last updated: 4 September 2026
This policy explains what data JugarPika2 (“the app”) collects, what it is used for, where it is stored and what rights you have over it. You can write to us at jugarpika2@gmail.com with any question or to exercise those rights.
1. Who handles your data
JugarPika2 is a personal project, not a company. The data controller is the person who develops the app, and the contact channel is jugarpika2@gmail.com.
2. What data we collect
When you sign in with Google and use the app, we store:
- Data from your Google account: name and email address.
- Profile data you fill in yourself: username, avatar picture, nationality, sex and date of birth (all optional except the username).
- Your preferences: the language you choose and the in-game privacy settings (for example, whether your Battleship fleet can be seen once the game ends).
- Game usage data: games played, results, your level and experience, streaks and completed challenges, your friends list, invitations sent and received, and whether you are online at any moment (so your friends can see it).
- Game economy: coins and tickets earned by playing, the items you buy in the shop and have equipped (frames, dice, tiles), the consumables you spend and the history of gifts you send during a game.
- Ranking: your league score and the history of leagues already closed.
- Moderation: the players you block and the reports you send or receive (see section 7).
Chat messages and emojis you send during a game are ephemeral: they travel between the players of that game, are seen at that moment and are not stored in any database. The only exception is in section 7.
If you enter as a guest (temporary trial mode), no account is created and none of your data is stored: everything disappears when you close the app.
3. What we use it for, and on what legal basis
- To give you the service you ask for: signing in, saving your progress, matching you, playing, and keeping your economy and your ranking. The legal basis is performance of the contract you accept by using the app (its Terms).
- For the friends system, invitations and seeing who is online, and to show your name, avatar and country to other players. The legal basis is that same contract and, for the optional profile fields, your consent: you can withdraw it by deleting them from your profile.
- To moderate the community and prevent cheating and abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the app a safe place and protecting other players.
We do not use your data for advertising, we do not sell it, and this app includes no ads nor third-party tracking or analytics tools.
4. Who we share it with
Data is hosted on Supabase (database, authentication and image storage), our infrastructure provider, acting as data processor. Google processes the sign-in under its own privacy policy. Nobody else has access to your data.
Other players only see the profile information you choose to show (name, avatar, country), your level and your in-game activity (games, whether you are online). They never see your email address or your exact date of birth. The league ranking is public: any player can check it and see your name, avatar and score there.
5. Where it is stored
On servers in the European Union: the database and the images are hosted in the Ireland region. We do not transfer your data outside the European Economic Area. The sign-in is processed by Google under its own safeguards.
As with any internet service, the infrastructure provider logs technical connection data (including IP addresses) for a limited time, for security and diagnostics.
6. How long we keep it
As long as your account exists. If you delete it we remove your profile, your avatar, your friendships and your economy; the history of games already played may be kept anonymously, unlinked from you, and a report involving you may be kept for as long as needed to handle it.
7. Chat, blocks and reports
You can block any player and report them if they behave badly. When you send a report we store who reports, whom, the reason, your description if you write one, and a frozen copy of the context at that moment: the name, the avatar and, if the report is about the chat, the reported text. Without that evidence the report could not be reviewed, and that copy is the only circumstance in which a chat message is stored.
We use that information only for moderation: reviewing the case and, where appropriate, warning, suspending or closing the reported account.
8. Your rights
You can ask us at any time, by writing to jugarpika2@gmail.com, to:
- Access the data we hold about you.
- Correct it (you can also edit most of it from your profile).
- Delete your account and your data.
- Receive a copy of your data in a reusable format.
- Object to a specific processing, or ask us to restrict it.
We reply within one month at most. If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
9. How to delete your account
You can delete it yourself from the app, in Info → Your account → Delete my account: it is deleted right away, with no waiting. If you prefer, write to jugarpika2@gmail.com from the address you signed in with and we will do it. Either way your account and the associated data are deleted, as explained in section 6.
10. Minors
JugarPika2 is not aimed at children under 14. If you are the legal guardian of a minor who created an account without your consent, contact us to delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change anything relevant, we will update the date above and, if the change is important, we will let you know inside the app.
